Well, he made it! Today my love graduated from Nuclear Power School, the most intense, stressful, fast-paced, and challenging military training in the world. I couldn't be more proud of him. And with this training/education under his belt, he is only a few credits away from a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering--so that kind of rocks! During the past 6 months, Landon has been learning, studying, and taking weekly exams in preparation of managing and operating the nuclear reactor onboard the US Naval Submarines. I've watched him work his little butt off to get to this point and I am constantly inspired by his ability to push through any challenge that comes his way. I think we are both looking forward to having a few weeks of freedom before the next round of training (Prototype) begins here in Charleston. After all, this is just the beginning of the long, stressful journey ahead--but it is also the beginning of awesome adventure, powered and driven by his devotion to our country. I love to see my Lando succeed and am excited to see what great things are waiting for him in the years to come. Congratulations babe! You deserve the world!
