We are so not the type to spend our Saturday night at a ball game. We have never even been to a professional sporting event together. EVER! But I guess new homegrounds calls for trying new things! And so does our life that is being completely overrun by long hours of school and work – nothing new there… haha! It was so refreshing to get out and just be together. Somebody ALWAYS ends up grumpy when we skip out on our “us” time. And it’s intriguing to me that in order to make time for each other it requires taking time away from those stressful duties, yet somehow those few extra hours together always seem to make everything flow so much more smoothly. Then suddenly the stress washes away and everything seems right in the world again. Marriage just rocks. And so do the Charleston Riverdogs!! We may have had to google the rules of baseball, haha. But we all know everyone goes to baseball games for the hot dogs and ginormous nachos. Pretty sure we doubled the nacho stand’s sales after everyone around us got a glimpse of our heart healthy dinner.  And you all know how I love that hour of golden light... mmmm. Just another good day full of life.
