With a sailboat all packed and ready to set sail, we had a bunch of time left to wander through Nassau before heading out the next morning. The first stop we made was to re-equip Mitch with his snorkeling/diving essentials after his carry-on bag was taken from him by the flight stewardess and yes, lost during transit. We later found out that the tag for his bag was accidentally switched with some rich businessman's, and ultimately his bag ended up in Massachusetts instead of in the Bahamas. Luckily the airline worked with him to replace his gear for the trip, which he proudly slung across his back. The saddest part is that his bag didn't actually return to Utah until 2 weeks after we were already home. CRAZY!
We browsed through a few little souvenir shops and Lando teased with the vendors, like he always does. We aren't very big souvenir people, but Landon and Mitch got all excited about these cheapo Bahamas themed shirts and guess how many times he has worn that thing since he bought it. ZERO. Haha! But thankfully I don't ever have to be seen with him wearing it!
