It was a super quick stay for us in Nassau. Our first day on the island, we were totally exhausted since our flight was a red eye and everybody knows how airplane/airport sleeping is nearly impossible. It was scheduled to leave SLC around midnight, but we didn't end up leaving until well past 2 am. But obviously that didn't stop us from immediately hitting up the beach! The water was crystal clear and the perfect temperature. As always, Landon teases me about rating the sand at practically every beach we visit. Okay, so maybe I am picky about my beach sand. Nobody wants to chill in a big pile of gravel, right? :) 

We gathered our week's worth of groceries, tried out some conch for the first time at dinner, and got ready to check out our catamaran the next morning! Even from the air the turquoise water had me totally smitten. Welcome to freaking paradise!
